1 Day SUP Trip Hallstahammar to Strömsholm/Borgåsund

Here you can rent if you want to start your paddling in Hallstahammar and then finish downstream at one of our canoe drop off points. Choose the type of SUP you want to paddle and then select the date you want to book. We have 3 different types of SUPs to choose from: standard, fast, or stable. The price includes SUP rental, life jacket, paddle, leash, drybag, laminated map with route description and SUP return transporation.

You can start the tour at any time from our unmanned rental location in Hallstahammar, but if you prefer extra assistance, choose a time when our staff is available. Our opening hours can be found at the top of the page labeled ”Hallstahammar rental”. Paddle downstream along the canal and finish the tour in Kolbäck, Westerqwarn, Strömsholm, or Borgåsund. The tour is easily customizable, and no matter which canoe drop off points you choose to lock your SUP at, it’s easy to return using the local free bus, VL line 120! Please note that the bus does not operate on Sundays.

Map and route description Hallstahammar-Kolbäck-Strömsholm-Borgåsund

SUP stands for ”stand up paddleboard”. It is maneuvered with a single paddle while standing, but it’s also possible to kneel to improve balance. A life jacket and leash are used when paddling. The leash is a strap that is attached to one end of the board and the ankle to keep the paddleboard nearby if you end up in the water.
